 Heather
Hilliard
Principal


Heather is the Principal of Caliber and has more than 15 years
of experience working with companies in the areas of organizational
development and change, leadership development, reward systems
and performance management.
Heather's specialties include developing reward and performance
strategies for organizations undergoing change, helping clients
to decide which approaches best align with and support business
strategy and organizational values. She works with clients
to develop plans and processes that optimize the return on
human resource investment and that serve to focus work behaviour
on value-added business results. In addition, Heather has
extensive experience working with organizations to develop
leadership and employee capabilities and create a culture
that supports organizational success.
Prior to starting Caliber, Heather spent five years with an
international HR consulting firm, where she was a Partner
and Team Leader of the Performance and Rewards practice for
the Vancouver office. She also spent three years in compensation
and human resources for a national communications company.
Heather holds a Bachelor's Degree in Honors Business Administration
from the University of Western Ontario. She is a Certified
Compensation Practitioner (CCP) and a Certified Human Resources
Practitioner (CHRP). She is a past member of the Board for
the BC Human Resources Management Association, and is a frequent
speaker on compensation, performance management, and leadership
issues.

Claridge
Lead Consultant


Lead
Consultant Heather Claridge strengthens the Caliber team with
over 20 years global HR experience, including senior management
and executive level HR roles with Motorola, Pivotal Corporation
and Blast Radius.
Heather
is valued by CEOs for her strategic, systems view of what
drives an organization’s performance. She has a strong
track record in helping companies to successfully execute
on their strategic plans by defining the organizational capabilities
required, then assessing the degree to which these capabilities
exist within an organization and finally by building the supporting
HR infrastructure, systems and practices to enhance the organizational
capabilities required to drive superior business performance.
Heather
has deep expertise related to growing and transforming organizations — having created scalable infrastructures to support
and sustain growth, developed change management practices
in support of an IPO process, integrated mergers and acquisitions,
and implemented HR strategies that maximize the bottom line
business impact as well as the return on investment. Experience
developing and implementing integrated talent management systems
including leadership, succession and career management rounds
out her skill set.
Heather
holds an MA in Organization Design and Effectiveness from
Fielding University in Santa Barbara, CA. She is also a certified
Human Resources Practitioner (CHRP). Since
1988, Heather has been a prominent member of British Columbia’s
high technology HR community. A founding member of the Technology
Industry Association’s HR Technology Group, she has
also volunteered her time for BCHRMA, various speaking engagements
and as an account executive for the annual United Way Campaign.

Anne Dranitsaris
Associate Consultant


Anne is an Associate with Caliber, based in Toronto. With
more than twenty years experience in business, leadership
and employee development, Anne works with individuals and
organizations, to design and implement assessment and development
processes to increase their understanding of how personal
dynamics impact upon interpersonal, team and organizational
effectiveness. She conducts interventions and mediation for
clients who are experiencing business challenges as a result
of conflict within primary relationships (partners, leadership
groups, teams, boards, etc.).
Anne is excited by the challenges that working with interpersonal
dynamics bring and by opportunities to bring new concepts
and theory into practice to facilitate the growth of people
toward their potential. She is an innovator, who likes to
push the envelope and do things that haven't been done before.
Anne holds a Master's Degree in Therapeutic Counselling and
is a graduate of the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy
and studied at the Masterson Institute for Disorders of the
Self (New York). She attended Ryerson University and the Institute
for Management Training for organizational development and
management studies. Anne has also completed certificate programs
in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Alternate Dispute Resolution.
She is certified to administer a number of assessment instruments
including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, BarOn EQ-i (Emotional
Intelligence Indicator) and Thomas Kilmann (Conflict Styles).
